The fourth week of the first term of the 2022 academic year is concluded with a Spelling B competition, held at Spring of Life International School premises for Lower Primary students.
The competition pitted the different sections against each other: Yellow, Green, Blue and Red. The leaders of each section chose three contestants for their respective section. The yellow section is represented by Prisca Nelly Kwao, Ewurabena Edinam Wilson and Success Yezu. The red section is represented by Elikem Kwabena Wilson, Dzidedzi Adorbor and Sheriff Haruna. The green section is represented by Lilian Ampofo, Bernard Agyapaye Fosu and Thompson Abatanie. And finally the blue section is represented by Richmond Trokor, Jennifer Dotse and Charles Opoku. The competition started at 1:00 pm and ended at 2:00 pm. For almost forty-five minutes, the contestants had several words spelled and had various rewards.
In the first round, the Yellow and Green sections were in the lead with 10 points each leaving behind them Red and Blue who had respectively 9 and 3 points.
After a musical break, the second round began and much changed in the standings. After this thrilling second and last lap, it's time for the results.
The Yellow section had 20 points, the Green section also gained 20 points, the Red section had 16 points and the Blue section occupied the last position with 6 points.
The Yellow and Green Sections are therefore winners of this competition. hopefuly the Blue section will take its revenge next time.
