Maroc : Mohammed VI's mother, Princess Lalla Latifa, has passed away

Morocco is in grieving. Princess Lalla Latifa, widow of Hassan II and mother of King Mohammed VI, kicked the bucket this Saturday, the representative for the Illustrious Castle declared in a public statement handed-off by various Moroccan media.

"The representative for the Imperial Castle declares, with tremendous misery and profound burden, the demise of HRH Princess Lalla Latifa, may God show her in His Sacred kindness," we can peruse in the public statement. " In declaring this agonizing misfortune, we implore the All-powerful to encompass the late departed with His boundless benevolence, divine mercy and to invite her into His huge heaven, to give long life to His Highness Ruler Mohammed VI, may God jelly Him and sustains His magnificence," proceeds with the Regal Castle.

A place to live in France?

Lalla Latifa, conceived Latifa Amahzoune, turned into a princess when she wedded Ruler Hassan II on November 9, 1961. They had five youngsters after their association: princesses Lalla Meryem, Lalla Asmaa, Lalla Hasnaa, ruler Moulay Rachid and the now King of Morocco Mohammed VI.

As per unfamiliar media, Lalla Latifa wedded Hassan II's previous security boss after his demise in 1999, and lived among Morocco and France. There has never been a formal confirmation of the information. According to Africa Intelligence, she had a residence in the Paris area. Ruler Mohammed VI came to France to his bedside in 2022, while his condition of wellbeing was crumbling, reports Jeune Afrique. Princess Lalla Latifa was not known to attend public events and had no official duties.
