In a debate tangent, Trump and Biden argue over golf handicap.

During the presidential debate on Thursday, former President Donald Trump sparked a round of golf vitriol by questioning President Joe Biden's swing, claiming he was "happy to have a driving contest" with Trump.

During the debate, 78-year-old Trump and 81-year-old Biden were asked about their ages. Trump used the question to boast about two non-senior club championships he claimed to have won and to claim that Biden could not hit a ball fifty yards. Biden, on the other hand, insisted that he has easily passed multiple cognitive tests.

In response, Biden made a comment about Trump's height and weight, stating that he would be happy to play golf with the former president if he brought his own bag.

Trump called Biden's claim that he has a handicap of 6 in golf, which means he is expected to shoot six strokes higher than the par score for a given course, "a lie," adding, "I've seen your swing,"

When the barbs stopped, Trump said, "Let's not act like children," to which Biden replied, "You are a child."
